Clemson Takes Down No. 9 Duke

Hannah Kohn delivered when her team needed it most against No. 9 Duke on Sunday afternoon. The Clemson guard finished the game with one made field goal, but it couldn’t have come at a better time. She hit the game-winning three-pointer to defeat the Blue Devils, 53-51, snapping their 17-game winning streak. The Tigers have 10 ACC wins for the first time in 25 years under second-year head coach Shawn Poppie. So far during his tenure, Clemson has knocked off three ranked teams. At 19-9 overall and 10-6 in conference play, Coach Poppie believes his team irrefutably belongs in the NCAA tournament. At the postgame conference, he stated, “There's no doubt they're an NCAA tournament team, and they just continue to prove it.”
