MiLaysia Fulwiley was electrifying in No. 7 LSU’s 78-70 comeback win over No. 17 Ole Miss on Thursday night. She scored a career-high 26 points, to go along with 7 rebounds, 3 steals, 2 assists, and 2 blocks in just 24 minutes. The Tigers faced a 13-point deficit in the 3rd quarter, and Fulwiley provided the spark they needed off the bench, scoring 20 points in the 2nd half. She spoke about what this comeback says about her team: “I think it says that we have each other back, and regardless of how we’re playing or who is going off or who’s not doing as well, we have each other back, and we wanna win.” Fulwiley is currently averaging 13.3 points per game this season.
