Texas A&M Upsets No. 21 Tennessee
Texas A&M women’s basketball team pulled off a stunner in Knoxville on Thursday night. The Aggies took down No. 21 Tennessee, 82-74, for their 1st ranked road win since 2021. They did it behind an incredible night from beyond the arc, making eleven three-pointers as a team. Ny’Ceara Pryor had an exceptional performance in the win, with 22 points, 10 assists, 5 steals, and 1 rebound. Under head coach Joni Taylor’s guidance, Texas A&M has won three of its last four games, including two Top-25 wins. She talked about how the team’s early conference losses equipped them for this moment. “They trusted the process in January, and that's hard to do when you're not winning basketball games.” With three games remaining on its regular season schedule, Texas A&M is 11-11 overall and 4-9 in SEC play.
