2024 WR Keron Milton Jr. Commits To Georgia State

After visiting Georgia State and speaking with new football Head Coach Dell McGee, 2024 wide receiver Keron Milton Jr. announced his commitment to the GSU Panthers.

The Warner Robins, GA native spoke with me about why he chose Georgia State:

“I had a preferred walk-on opportunity from Georgia State’s old staff and when Coach McGee took the job, I still believed in Georgia State’s program and had a lot of respect for Coach McGee. He has a lot of experience and I know he is going to do great things for the program.”

His thoughts on Georgia State’s coaching staff:

“Coach Chaney (Offensive Coordinator) and the rest of the staff made me feel welcomed. Their whole staff was truly themselves and up front about everything.  They want me to come in and earn my spot up there and work for everything.  I really appreciate that and I'm excited about how they are going to develop me as a man and a football player.”

Keron Milton Jr. is a product of Northside High School in Warner Robins, Georgia. He recorded 815 receiving yards and 7 touchdowns during his senior season in 2023, according to MaxPreps. The 6’0”, 170-pound wideout received 6A All-State Honorable Mention honors for his outstanding play this past season.

He has a message for Panther Nation on what type player they are getting:

“A hard worker and great teammate who gives everyone the utmost respect.”
