SOUTH CAROLINA AT LSU WBB SHOWDOWN SET FOR PRIMETIME ON ABC

LSU vs South Carolina has become a perennial must-see women’s basketball showdown over the years. The SEC is making sure the stage will be even bigger for their next upcoming matchup on Valentine’s Day (February 14, 2026).

As it was announced yesterday, this game will be nationally televised in a primetime slot on ABC. The showdown is set for a 7:30 PM CT tipoff at Pete Maravich Assembly Center in Baton Rouge, LA.

South Carolina head coach Dawn Staley has beaten LSU 17 times in a row since 2013, but the last five matchups since Coach Kim Mulkey arrived at LSU have been extremely intriguing.

A battle between two legendary coaches is a fascinating storyline in itself. This upcoming matchup has another interesting aspect, with former Gamecock guard Milaysia Fulwiley transferring to LSU after winning a National Championship with Coach Staley in 2024 and being named SEC Sixth-Woman of the Year in 2025.
