Former Michigan Transfer LB Jerome Nichols Commits To FAMU

Jerome Nichols, a graduate transfer linebacker from the FBS National Champions Michigan Wolverines, announced today on X that he has committed to play for the FAMU Rattlers, who are the HBCU National Champions.

The 6-0, 235 pound linebacker recorded 4 tackles during his time with the Wolverines and has 2 years of eligibility remaining.

He signed with Michigan as a 2020 recruit from Renaissance High School in Detroit, Michigan and announced his entry into the transfer portal on January 25th, 2024.

Nichols chose the Rattlers after being offered by them on February 5th.
