FAMU Men’s Basketball Lands Highest-Rated Recruit In Program History

FAMU men’s basketball made history today when Camden Cooper, a four-star shooting guard in the class of 2027, announced on Instagram that he is committing to Coach Charlie Ward and the Rattlers.

Cooper was originally in the 2028 class but recently reclassified to the 2027 class. He’s now the highest-rated recruit in FAMU basketball history.

The 6’7” player is from Jacksonville, Florida, and had offers from Florida State, Texas A&M, and several other schools.
